Future Release 2025

A few details on future projects and releases. 

Kyara no Bara (伽羅の薔薇): Another rose-oud composition, but with an interesting twist—this blend is rooted in Middle Eastern tradition and taken as far east as possible. A rose-oud perfume, but this time focused on the beauty and intricate nuances of kyara. The perfume will feature several types of kinam oils, namely: yellow kyara, black kyara, an in-house distillation of purple kinam, green kinam, sinking-grade kinam, and a very rare wild kinam oil (more details will be shared closer to the release).

The roses used will be very limited, chosen specifically for their profiles and characteristics so as not to interfere with other ingredients.

Additional notes include: butter CO2 extraction, Nha Trang incense accord, pineapple myrtle, and yuzu.

The bottles will be extremely limited due to the use of oils from my personal collection, as well as rare oils sourced from museums around the world.

Cuir de Russie (Русская кожа): As the name suggests, this is a leather scent inspired by the early 19th-century Tsars. The composition will feature a cuir de Russie accord, osmanthus, wild Khon Ken oud, oakmoss, and vintage heliotrope.

Tabac Qinan: A fun project initially intended for release in October, but it was too artisanal to launch at that time. After further feedback, it will now be released as part of the signature collection.
The notes include: tobacco absolute, jade wood, lavender, Malaysian rose, green kinam, and cinnamon.

Socotra: a collaboration with Dr. Rajesh Balkrishnan during his visit to Socotra. This perfume is truly one of a kind—the most fun and experimental creation I’ve made to date, featuring a fascinating ingredient: dragon’s blood resin from the infamous dragon tree (Dracaena cinnabari), native to Socotra.

This scent will be incense-heavy with oceanic elements, capturing the fusion of island and oriental influences. Notes include: Socotra dragon’s blood, Yunnan dragon’s blood resin, red Hojari frankincense, tonka bean, cognac, Siberian musk, in-house tobacco absolute, smoky Malaysian oud, ambergris and spices. 

The release is scheduled for February 25, with only 100 bottles to be made.
